trees, clouds, tea, tornadoes, photos, people, cats, monkeys, lemurs, dogs, fun, fuzzy things, soft things, the words: charming, delicious and fragrant, music, mandolins, philosophy, people, plants, sunshine, bodies of water, fog, roots, puppies, children dressed like adults, wrinkles; definitely wrinkles, wisdom, insight, wood, fires, shadows, the smell of fires, the smell of rain, the forest, other things too.
In their nuptial vows, they’d promised to never conceal anything, to remain completely open to one another. But the prison-style shower remodel wasn’t the anniversary gift she’d hoped for.
